The Broome County Board of Elections is working on certifying the results of the Primary Election. Early Voting and Election Day unofficial machine counts were released beginning at 9pm on Election Night, June 23rd. Absentee and Affidavit Ballots were counted on July 1st, 2nd, and 6th with unofficial numbers released on Tuesday, July 7th.

New York State Opens More Ballot Access This Summer.

Under Executive Order, New York State will allow Independent Petitioning from July 1st through July 30th. Filing dates of those petitions is July 27th - July 30th.

Those seeking to create their own Independent Party/Line to get on the November General Election Ballot must obtain the adjusted number of signatures listed in the table below (Right Column: Independent): © 2014-2020
