Absentee Application Deadline

Monday, October 18th, is the DEADLINE for the Board of Elections to receive your Absentee Applications by E-Mail, Fax, Mail, or Online Portal.

If you have not already submitted your application, you have until the strike of MIDNIGHT to use the Absentee Application Portal before it closes (https://absenteeballot.elections.ny.gov/).

After October 18th, all Absentee Applications through November 1st must be submitted in person over-the-counter. Absentee ballots can be released to the voter or the voter's designated recipient.

NYS BALLOT PROPOSITIONS

There are five New York statewide ballot propositions on the back of everyone's ballot, if you're in the Town of Vestal, there is an additional local town proposition as well.

COMMISSIONERS HEARING SCHEDULED

The Broome County Board of Elections has scheduled a hearing for Tuesday, July 27th for the Commissioners to consider specific objections to the Independent Nominating Petitions filed for the 2021 Election Cycle.

The hearing will be at 2:00 PM in the Board of Elections Auditorium on the second floor of the Edwin L. Crawford County Office Building located at 60 Hawley Street, Binghamton, New York 13901.
