I was at my polling place this morning around 6:50 am and one of the election workers was very vocal about which candidate she disliked. Aren’t they supposed to be impartial and not spreading their opinion inside the polling site?

I have another question- is there a direct e-mail address I can use to contact someone from this site, or is the only means of contact the phone number that’s listed on this site? Please let me know- thank you.

Hello. I live in Binghamton, and I am planning on voting for local officials when I go to vote in the Presidential Elections this year. How come you don’t have links to information on the local candidates that are running? You should have info about the local candidates AND their campaign platforms all on this ONE site. I have to take the time to try look up info about each individual candidate that’s running for Local Office on their respective websites. Also I get literature about the candidates who are running for Local Office in the mail. Why are they waiting to the last minute to share info about these candidates via the literature that we get in the mail? That makes no sense.

Our voting location is the Johnson City High School. When we enter our paperwork into the machine it does NOT confirm to us how we cast our vote … it only tells us that it was accepted and registered … but NOT how if got registered … in other words, we have no way to confirm that our vote was registered correctly. We wish you would change this … it encourages and abets fraud.

How can we find out candidates’ positions on the issues? And where can we see the answers to questions that you have posted that others have asked?

I was registered to vote in Gallia County, Ohio. When I went to update my registration to Franklin County, there was no record. How did I lose my right to vote? I have been registered to vote for 40 years.

Does the voter registration card issued by DMV belong to the Board of Elections or to the person to whom it was issued?

I went with my son to vote for his first time last Tuesday. He lives in Binghamton and he voted at a church on the corner of Clinton and Glenwood. He showed up with picture ID, his Social security card and Birth Certificate. He thought he would need to prove who he was. The only thing the workers asked him was his address and political affiliation. I could not believe there was no database of registered voters, he didn’t have to sign in ( as I have had to do for 30+ years as a voter in Windsor). Now how are you guys going to prove he didn’t already vote? How are you going to stop someone from voting a couple times? I was stunned. Please respond.

If your name "disappeared" from the voter registration list, please go online to the County Board of Elections.

Last week I checked with The Board of Elections to see if I was registered to vote in the primary, and it turned out I was registered. I just checked with the same board website, and it said that I was not registered. In 2014, I had to reregister as soon as I moved. Please tell me what’s wrong.

I don’t have a question as much as I do a statement. My polling place is the could tell Kattelville youth Association building in Chenango Forks. it’s a terrible place to park it’s dangerous to get in and out of the road. The lighting inside the place is horrible so you can’t see anything. This makes voting very difficult for me. My polling place has been changed three different times Can you find a different building or location for Port Road Binghamton.
